My First Gallery Wall (for less than $25!)

There’s this wall that’s been staring at me for quite some time.

“Come to me,” it beckons. “Make me pretty.”

So, after a couple weeks of planning and thrifting and envisioning, I finally decided to tackle it (with the help of my mama), and thus, it became…

THE GALLERY WALL.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a bunch of pictures organized in a seemingly casual haphazard way that actually took a long time to configure!

Here are some of my favorite pieces:

Fell in love with these fraternal-twinsy gold mirrors the second I saw them.

Another savvy Savors find - this gorgeous, sparkly, sassy gold candle!

This. Bottle. Again, Savers. $3. Forever obsessed. I feel like Robin Williams as Genie might come shooting out any second to grant me interior design wishes (1. infinite money for designing things, 2. infinite walls for gallery-ing, 3. tons of empty or ugly houses to prettify).

And the best part about this whole gallery wall?

It took ONE trip to Savers.

$23.67.

Here’s what I bought (the rest I already had or found around the house):

  • the turquoise/gold genie bottle
  • 2 picture frames (one was black, the other I spray-painted blue)
  • the sassy gold candle
  • the fraternal-twin mirrors
  • the black victorian candle holder

So, here are the morals of the story:

Savers is cheap, and sometimes you can find cool things there.

Yes, I already owned a canvas portrait of a pug with a mustache. Are you really surprised?

Gallery walls are an AWESOME way to spice up a room and express your personal style.

Have you done a gallery wall? Post pics in the comments! I would love to see your handiwork!
